For the foam insert inside the case we chose expanded polypropylene (EPP)This material is characterized by its excellent heat-conducting properties, which is crucial for protecting the drones in extreme temperatures. EPP is both heat and cold resistant and is very good at insulating, so it can easily withstand the strong temperature fluctuations in the desert. We also opted for low-density EPP to optimally absorb shocks and vibrations, which is particularly important when transporting drones across uneven desert landscapes.
Another advantage of EPP is that it is 100% recyclable. Our designers paid particular attention to the construction of the insert: they developed a design that does not require any adhesive at all. The lack of adhesive was necessary because conventional adhesives could melt at high temperatures and lose their adhesive strength. Instead, we used precisely manufactured plug connections and thermal connections to ensure that the drones are securely fixed.
Thanks to this customized solution, the drone manufacturer was able to transport its devices safely into the desert and use them reliably there – regardless of the extreme environmental conditions.
Case Study 2
Special case for the police
We were commissioned by a special police unit to develop a case that could safely and neatly store an MP5 submachine gun and additional magazines. The focus was on robustness, security and the ability to secure the case in the emergency vehicle.
We chose a high-quality PELI protective case, which is characterized by its extreme stability, weather resistance and durability. For the interior, we designed a customized foam inlay made of durable material that offers optimal protection for the weapon and accessories. Each component - from the MP5 to the magazines - has its own fixed place, which enables a quick and easy completeness check.

Bespoke case for special fire service tools
A fire brigade team commissioned us to develop a robust case for transporting tools used in rescue operations. The case had to be able to store various tools safely and clearly. At the same time, it had to be light enough to be transported quickly during operations.
For this project we developed a custom-made Aluminum case, which is not only extremely durable, but also lightweight and corrosion-resistant. Inside the case, we have developed individually cut foam inserts that hold each item firmly in place. The foam inlay was made of high-quality plastazote, a material characterized by shock absorption and durability.
A particular challenge was to design the case so that all tools could be accessed quickly without getting mixed up. Therefore, the interior structure was divided into different levels and compartments so that both large and small tools could be stored clearly and within easy reach.
For use in the vehicle, we integrated a special mounting system that allows the case to be securely fixed in the designated compartments of the fire engine. In addition, the case has been equipped with ergonomic handles to make transport easier and with a specially coated locking system that works perfectly even in adverse conditions such as extreme heat or moisture.

The interior was filled with a precisely fitted foam insert made of Plastazote LD29 - a cross-linked polyethylene foam that impresses with its excellent performance and low weight. This foam protects the drone from shocks and impacts while keeping the overall weight of the bag low.
For the outer shell of the bag, we used durable materials that meet the requirements of intensive outdoor use. Professional zippers and durable fabrics ensure a long service life and reliable functionality.
