As of the first of August 2024, Peter Munch will be joining the sales team of Thomas Sogaard and Novapor Nordic. With over 20 years experience in the field of technical foams, Peter Munch is the perfect addition to Novapor Nordic's dynamic team. His extensive expertise and hands-on approach will undoubtedly further strengthen the company and lead it to new successes.


Peter Munch is fluent in Danish, German and English, which makes him a valuable asset for communication with customers and partners in the Nordic countries. As Sales Manager for the Nordic countries, he will be instrumental in expanding and strengthening Novapor Nordic's business in this region. His expertise and deep understanding of the local markets will enable him to develop customised solutions that meet the specific needs of customers.


In addition, Peter Munch will also make his extensive knowledge and experience available to the entire Novapor team. With his practical approach and ability to simplify complex processes, he will make an important contribution to the further development and optimization of business operations. His ability to recognize and respond to customer needs will not only advance the Nordic market, but also the entire company.

Interview with Peter Munch

How long have you been working in the foam industry?

Peter Munch: Since January 2004, so it is now over 20 years.

What fascinates you about the foam industry and motivates you to continue working in this field?

Peter Munch: There are countless possibilities and no two days are the same. I live by the motto: my customers' success is my success. Therefore, I always try to understand and meet my customers' needs and requirements. I have always worked with customized products and love to delve into the value chain to consider logistics, assembly, etc. and reduce complexity for the customer as much as possible.  

We mainly work with innovative packaging, but we also offer many technical solutions. How can you make Novapor Nordic even stronger?

Peter Munch: I see myself as a practitioner, think in pictures and have a good technical and business understanding. Over the years I have acquired extensive product knowledge. With this knowledge I want to combine Novapor Nordic's broad product and production capabilities to create unique tailor-made solutions. In addition, we have a competent development department that is creative and understands that time to market is crucial for many companies.

What are your strengths?

Peter Munch: My practical approach and the ability to see all the processes in the company. In addition, aligning expectations and specifying requirements from the beginning is extremely important. I am very careful here because it is crucial for the result.  

What do you expect from yourself as Sales Manager for the Nordic market?

Peter Munch: I expect customers to experience Novapor Nordic as a good and competent business partner who is quick to understand customers' needs and focuses on long-term relationships. Customers also need to understand the one-stop-shop concept, where Novapor Nordic removes all the complexity and offers a fully competitive and well-thought-out A to Z solution. There is also a great potential that I have never been able to offer before: we have our own Class 7 cleanroom for assembly, cleaning, etc., which needs to be further explored.

What do you expect from Novapor Nordic to be successful?

Peter Munch: High service to key customers and those with high potential. There is a lot of niche/high-end production in Scandinavia where time to market is often critical. Even medium-sized companies often do not have specialists in packaging, so we have to approach the individual with well thought-out solutions.

Where do you see Novapor Nordic in 1, 2 and 5 years?

Peter Munch: Novapor Nordic is the new and fresh player on the Danish market and offers a complete A-Z solution within the innovative packaging and foams companies need. Novapor Nordic has already shown that they are successful with their presence. I expect Novapor Nordic to become an even more significant player in the market in the next 1, 2 and 5 years. I will not be the last employee hired at Novapor Nordic. We want to grow through fun and we will achieve both.

Which industries do you see as most promising in the next 1, 2 and 5 years?

Peter Munch: I believe that high-end and niche products can make the biggest difference in medium-scale series production.

What attracted you to working at Novapor Nordic?

Peter Munch: The very versatile possibilities with AZ solutions, combined with development, quality and logistics, which enable us to offer the complete package.

What is important to you in an organization to do your job well?

Peter Munch: Freedom with responsibility, a flat organization with a good team spirit.
