Interview with the head of NOVAPOR Nordic
To learn more about the motivation behind our sponsorship, we conducted a short interview with Thomas Søgaard, the head of NOVAPOR Nordic.
Question: Why is it important to you to support the Vinding Badminton Club?
Thomas Søgaard: I have been active in sports clubs since I was young, so I know how important they are for the community. Vinding Badminton Club in Vejle has a long tradition and, as a grassroots sports club, plays an important role in supporting and promoting talents of all ages. Great results are also achieved here. The club has players from the age of 4 and the oldest is around 75 years old.
Vinding Badminton Club is for everyone. Everyone plays for fun, also for social or health reasons. The top teams play at a high level and for performance. This year the best senior team is playing in the Danish series, which shows that the club is also very successful and passionate about achieving its goals. We support such passionate initiatives because they strengthen community cohesion and have a positive impact on many people's lives. It also brings us closer to the region and the people who live here.
Question: To what extent does sponsoring a sports club fit with NOVAPOR’s values?
Thomas Søgaard: NOVAPOR is a family-run company that focuses on sustainable and innovative solutions. We believe in responsibility - not only towards our customers, but also towards the community in which we operate. Sports clubs are a great example of community spirit and we want to support that. In addition, we are deeply rooted in the region and it is important to us to give back some of our success.
Question: What do you hope to achieve from the partnership in the coming years?
Thomas Søgaard: We don't just want to support the club financially, we also want to get actively involved. I hope that we will experience many exciting moments in the next two years - whether at tournaments, in promoting young and experienced talents or in participating in joint events. We look forward to working closely with the team at Vinding Badminton Club and to making a small but important contribution to the sporting and social development of the region.
